Mediacorp-Vasantham’s headMakeup Artist called me again on Saturday night asking if I could come down on Sunday morning to help out with the makeup for some MTV vid. Sadly i had to decline cuz I had a wedding at 2pm, followed by a Fashion Show at 430pm and finally my darling cousin Nadia’s Bday @ Tambuah Mas Restaurant for dinner. And besides, I cant afford to overwork myself anymore. Getting low blood pressure so often these past few weeks, isnt a good sign. And besides, I was on MC on Friday. Been falling sick too much lately.. ugh =[
So anyways the wedding wasa grand and smashingly lovely one at Ritz Carlton,complete with Belly Dancers, all my girls decked up looking so gorgeous, yummy food, and i MUST admit..not much eyecandy.lol =D
I excused myself at 4pm and went to the car to get my change of clothes and Makeup Traincase out and once i was ready, headed to NgeeAnn City. There was apparently some Fashion Fest 2006 gng on where like all the different designers (we're nt talking Burberry, Armani, Versace) showcased their hard work. It was an amazing show and the designs were thoughtfully created. I loved it!
Mattias, asked if I could lend my services for that day. So as he ushered me backstage where the models were, i was stunned. All the hairstylist and some makeup artist were all clad in black polo tee with the infamous pink words "Cosmoprof" ! lol.. That would have been me mths ago! lol
And the HOD of Cosmoprof was there. I called out to her and she was so happy to see me, as I was to see her. =]
Matthias’s groups design were very bold and he made sure no one else but me did the makeup. I was super flattered. So once I was done, i packed up and headed off to the rest of Orchard to hunt for a B’day present for Nadia.
Sorry ive gt no shots of the makeup during the Fashion Fest bt Matthias promised he would get me some asap.
And at the end of the whole event, his group managed to clinch the 3rd prize!!
