Prom Night Makeover
Nov and Dec has been a busy period with Prom nights. Lots of groups of girls. Unfortunately, I havent taken much shots. So I thank the lovely girls who DO send the shots to me.
This was another prom night makeover, done at my residence on HariRaya Haji for Thara Hassan
Invited for opening of THANN @ Orchard ION
Thann opened its first concept store at ION Orchard on 30th November.
I was invited for its official opening. Now I have to admit, I wasnt all that keen cuz I am totally not a skincare/spa person. I would go head over heels for makeup but for skincare, I’m on the fence. Of course at some stage in my life, I need to worry about my skin, but for right now I’ve been using PREVAGE(in the midst of using so will blog in a week or two).
LADIES , you MUST head down to THANN to atleast HAVE A LOOK. First of all, their store had this fabulous NATURE theme to it, and made the whole ambience all the more ‘at ease’. We were given a tour of the store, by one of the lovely sales assistants there, and she pretty much left me and wiwit in awe with so many products that appealed to us.
Here is why I like THANN:
– Its not just about aromatherapy products, it has natural skincare products as well.
– Thann is the FIRST brand to use the extracts of SHISO (a traditional Japanese plant known for its healing & antioxidant properties) as a key ingredient for their skincare products.
– Their products are suitable for both MEN and WOMEN
– The products are VERY reasonably priced!

Oh and they were having 20% storewide for that day only, so I knew I HAD to take advantage of the discount! I skimmed through the shop and thought about what to buy. Then I recalled one particular item that I was instantly attracted to!!
AROMATHERAPY SHOWER GEL
I honestly cannot explain in words, how brilliant this smells! The scent of peppermint and eucalyptus oils as you shower.. OH WOW! I just bought this on 30th Nov, and my bottle is already two-thirds gone!! Because my brother is also sneakily using it! WHO CAN RESIST THE SCENT!!? And it only retails for SGD20 only, ladies. PURE LOVE!

Brush Recommendations
I think this video would be useful to many of you who enquire about brushes.
In this video, I show you my favourite and highly recommended brushes. And for those who find MAC too expensive, I managed to find some cheaper alternatives from reliable sources.
PLEASE NOTE: If I mentioned MAC in the video, then they were purchased at MAC counters. I do NOT use the “FAKE MAC BRUSH SET”. Other brandless brush sets are also available on the market that work just as fine, and dont cost as much.

small Inouvi Haul
Was at vivocity last night, I passed Inouvi and decided to take a look inside.
I remember owning a FULL 20 piece Inouvi eyeshadow filled palette once, about 4 years back when I just joined Cosmoprof. A friend sold it to me for $150 cuz she didnt use it, and at that point, $150 was alot to me but now I look back, NOWAY would you get that price anywhere today! But in the end I sold it away! LOL
So anyways,I rekindled my love for Inouvi again last night!
I was TOTALLLLLYYYY drawn to the ‘Metallogy series’ and got the SILVER coloured eyeshadow. Ive mentioned many times how its SUPER hard to get a good silver eyeshadow (even the ones at MAC don’t appeal to me!) and this inouvi eyeshadow was FANTASTIC! I think I may have found THE silver eyeshadow!!! I also wanted to try out their brushes, so I bought a small crease brush, similar to one of my favs by MAC, the #226.
I then saw empty PALETTES! You know I cant say no to palettes! I decided to buy one empty palette and slooowwwlllyyy fill it up! It has a very classy and chic look to it. My only concern is, once the magnets wear out….thats it…. Palette wont be able to shut securely anymore!
As I was about to pay, the sales lady told me if I top up to $100, I could get membership and I needed a mere $12 to top up, so I got an eyelash curler($15). Im pretty particular about eyelash curlers. I think every woman should own an eyelash curler! A mascarra is of NO USE without the eyelash curler. Trust me ladies, it makes a WORLD of difference! Two of my favourite eyelash curlers are the ones from ShuUemura and Inouvi. I wonder if its the same manufacturer!
