I got the opportunity to check out Shiseido’s latest products that are yet to launch(some launched already). and I must say, Shiseido, never fails to take my breath away, with all their mesmerizing colours!

The latest product, the SHIMMERING CREAM EYE COLOUR, got me excited cuz lately Ive been into Cream eyeshadows. and Im always on the hunt for a good cream eyeshadow. Im sure, just like me, the minute you think of CREAM shadows, you think of them creasing, and smudging. So when I got to see these new cream shadows from Shiseido, the FIRST thing I did was to test them to see if they were smudgeproof. I swatched one (OMG BRILLIANT COLOUR PAYOFF!!) and waited abt 4-5 minutes and gently swiped it and it didnt smudge. When I used more force then it did.

The colours.. oh the COLOURS! Im in love:

I personally LOVE the whole idea of cream shadows cuz there’s always more than one way you can use them!
You can either use them alone , or you can use them as an eyeshadow base to make your eyeshadows really pop! And if you use a thinner brush, you can even use them as a coloured eyeliner.

I decided to put the product to a test and applied it and wore it out for a couple of hours.
I just dusted some losoe powder on my lids, no eyeshadow base and applied the cream shadow on and checked back after FOUR HOURS:

I’ll be honest..I EXPECTED to see creasing! But I was shocked that there wasnt any. Please DO NOTE also that if you’re someone who has very oily skin/lids, then you may prefer to use a base FIRST. My lids are not really that oily so I just dusted on some loose powder and applied the cream shadow on top.
