In one of my previous blog entries, I mentioned how excited i was that Laura Mercier was finally in Sephora Singapore! Last week, I was invited to watch a demo by Laura Mercier’s Global Artist/Exec Tayaba Jafri.
Tayaba was absolutely amazing with her demo’s. Now I must say I enjoy watching demos from other makeup artists and beauty experts cuz you always learn new things. And whilst the demo was pretty basic, I got to learn a little bit more about the Laura Mercier products, specifically their face products which are their best sellers!
At the end of the demo, I was given their FLAWLESS FACE KIT which contains all their bestsellers! Only pity is that it doesnt come in any other shades, just ONE. However the products on their own, DO come in various shades

HAUL: Laura Mercier + Stila
You’d be pleased to know that STILA and LAURA MERCIER is now available at SEPHORA in Singapore.
Laura Mercier was previously sold at TrueColours at NgeeAnnCity but Ive heard they charged exorbitant prices.
So I was rather pleased to know that LauraMercier in Sephora Singapore is affordable. Id consider it a higher end brand but nonetheless, GREAT value for its quality
I managed to pick up 3 items from Stila & LauraMercier. I think I would have bought alot more, if I didnt just clean up my whole dressing table area and found SO MUCH unused new products!
How many times have you heard me mention how much I love that GLOW on the skin!? Well this was the FIRST thing that caught my attention at Laura Mercier! The ShimmerBloc. It reminded me of bobbibrown’s shimmerbrick bt its shape was totally replica of MODELSPREFER that I got from Perth at a fraction of the price!
Nonetheless…………SO PRETTY! ♥
You also know I love anything thats smudgeroof! So I was totally sold when I swatched this STILA primepot n it didnt budge! 
I cant wait to use it though!
Also picked up the STILA Perfecting Concealer. I realized after all these years doing makeup, I can easily pick my own concealer shade without having to try it on! I chose SHADE E and it was perfect for me! Wore it out once only, so its too soon to give my verdict
OMG seriously.. have u seen anything so shimmery n rich??? The new STILA jewel eyeshadows are so pretty! But I liked the GOLD best because its more wearable!

NEW: CLIO Gelpresso Pencils
Ya’ll know I LOVE a good waterproof/smudgeproof pencil! Ive blogged sevral times about my fav waterproof pencil liners. So it really put a smile on my face when I received a lovely press package with 4 stunning Gelpresso pencils!
I received four GORGEOUS colours! Super pigmented and SUPER sparkly!! LOVE IT!
The Silver is SO vibrant and pretty, unfortunately when the package arrived, I opened and foubd the silver broken and thought “Ok I’ll just have to sharpen it” BUT this is another reason why the GELPRESSO pencils are SO COOL! You dont have to sharpen them!! Just TWIST the base and the lead emerges,just like how you would for other mehanical rotating pencil liners!
Other reasons to LOVE gelpresso!
Seriously….How intense and pretty are the colours? I was in awe when I swatched them! Lil sparkly bits! ♥
For sure to brighten up anyone’s eyes!
And whats the point of bright intense amazing colours, if they budge so easily?? These are smudgeproof AND waterproof! And here’s proof!
(Well not the waterproof part cuz I didnt have time to record that, but I assure you it is!)

REVIEW: NEW Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturiser
I first heard about Cetaphil AGES ago from other MakeupArtists in the states who sweared by it! They used it to moisturise the face before applying makeup and so I began using Cetaphil about 2 years back. But somehow stopped when I started using other skincare products! So I was very much pleased when I received a bottle of the NEW Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturiser.
Whats so special about this moisturiser, you ask??
Well here’ 5 reasons to LOVE Cetaphil’s NEW Daily Facial Moisturiser:
(1) It nourishes and hydrates your skin whilst protecting it from the sun’s harmful rays( SPF15!)

So in my last two blog entries, I blogged about how I had just gotten back from Pakistan. Whilst I LOVED it there, my lips didnt, however! It was pretty chilly there, especially at night, and me and my mum would wake up with dry lips every day. We bought lip balms while we were there but it was pretty painful as the lips began to crack! You know how it hurts when your lips crack, so much so that you cant SMILE cuz if you do, you stretch the lips and then crack further? OW

HAUL: My first trip to Pakistan
Earlier this month, I made my way to Lahore,Pakistan for the FIRST TIME in my life! People often get shocked and ask why a Pakistani girl has never been to Pakistan!?
Well better late than never
I found Pakistan to be absolutely beautiful! At first I was a little nervous because all I heard from people was ”Dont do this in Pakistan, dont do that in Pakistan. Dont wear this in Pakistan, dont wear that in Pakistan.”
But Lahore was gorgeous! The streets were clean, there were gorgeous flowers planted everywhere, there were really lovely houses and the shopping……………….! If I had another week there, Im pretty sure Id go broke!
The main purpose of me (and my mum) going to Pakistan was to buy stuff for my brother’s wedding that will happen in June this year, Inshallah!
So we were so hectic, running all over the place, placing orders, collecting stuff.
But I did manage to squeeze in a good 20 mins at AL-FATAH and got some cosmetics which I am loving!
Al-Fatah is like a major departmental store in Pakistan and there was one closeby to my aunt’s place that I was putting up at.
I didnt really take much photos in Lahore because I was really busy and constantly on the move, so here are just a couple of shots:
Anyways, here’s my lil haul !
Luscious Cosmetics is very big in Pakistan and I was pleased at how affordable they were! These pigments cost about SGD6 per trio!
They instantly reminded me of the MAC Crushed pigments, which cost like SGD60 or something
I came back to Singapore and did a little swatch comparison!

Another local brand in Pakistan was CLARITY. These are waterproof cake eyeliner and eyeshadows
I also spotted familiar brands like MAC, Chanel, Loreal, Maybelline etc but I wanted to go for brands and items that I couldnt get in Singapore! BUT this particular shade from LOREAL, won me over!
SO PRETTY!!!
Picked up some of these jumbo lip crayons too
Bought some eye pencils which are to die for! such pretty colours!
Instantly fell in love with this ArtDeco glitter liner! You guys know im a sucker for BLING!
Also picked up some eyeshadows(and eyeshadow base) from ArtDeco. SO pigmented! I was blown away!

also, our flight to Lahore, transitted at Bangkok for two hours so I managed to walk around for abit and spotted NARS and VICTORIAS SECRET and MAC and BOBBI BROWN etc at their DutyFree in the Airport! I didnt have much time by then so I just picked up few items from Nars
Ok so thats my haul!
Cant wait to do a tutorial with the Luscious pigments soon! ♥
